My wife and I found an apartment in Gateway on StreetEasy and applied for it. From reading the reviews, apparently the experience really depends on who is your contact at Gateway. Our contact was Krystsina Liatsetskaya and the whole experience was great! She guided us through the whole process, explained everything well, gave a welcoming tour around the building. My roommate and I recently moved into an apartment in 355 South End and it is great! It is newly renovated and the community amenities are fabulous. The gym and pool both have great views and there is so much greenery in this area. The doormen and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our leasing agent Kireolos was fabulous in helping us find our unit and answering all of our questions. He made the process of applying and securing the apartment so easy and we couldn't be happier at the Gateway!

we have lived in multiple apartments across NYC and there isn't much to complain about at Gateway. The grounds are well kept, apartments are larger than most, and it's in an excellent location for families.

It's our third year at Gateway and we really like it here. Just wish the buildings were newer, otherwise great community, very nice people, pets friendly, amazing scenic location! Management is very responsive, Vanessa is great, very helpful. Management office team tries to resolve any maintenance or other problems promptly. Our doormen are very friendly and go extra mile. Special thanks to the leasing office (especially Alexandria) - very professional and helpful through every step of the moving process.

I love living here! Battery Park City is such a pleasant place to live and I've had such a positive experience at Gateway. Nicholas B. in the leasing office helped me find a spacious studio (with a water view) that was within my budget. Before deciding on my current unit we looked at many different layouts and he was there to answer all of my questions. Seamless process all around. As a young professional, I love living in Battery Park and I particularly love my home here at Gateway! Everyone at Gateway is very helpful and friendly. From the doormen to maintenance, to neighbors, Gateway has a true community feel! I had a great experience working with Leasing Manager Nicholas (Nico) Brunschwig. Great building, great neighborhood, car friendly! Have been living here for the past 22 years and can't see myself moving anywhere else. Doorman and maintenance people are top notch! Very responsive and friendly! The only challenge I've head is with management policies and staff. If your refrigerator or dishwasher breaks, they will keep replacing it with an older worn out model that will probably break again in a couple of weeks. I've lived here with my partner and cat for five months. My apartment is very spacious, which I love during WFH times. The staff is uniformly friendly. I feel confident that the package and mail situation is super secure. Generally, I hear no noise from neighbors and really can't complain about anything. I love that they recycle and have compost. It's a great location as well! Nico in the leasing office helped us lease our apartment -- he is great!

I have been living at Gateway for about 6 months now and absolutely love it. From my first time touring with Nico, I knew this was where I wanted to live. After a flawless move-in, the doormen have been extremely helpful and are all super friendly. As a dog owner, the building is also very pet friendly, and it is great having Battery Park so close. Overall, I could not be happier with my experience at Gateway.
