GARBAGE TRUCKS AT 2 AM AND 3 AM EVERYDAY!! Do not...I repeat DO NOT rent any apartment where you can see that courtyard/garden in the middle of the complex. The banging and beeping from the garbage trucks EVERY NIGHT will literally wake you from your sleep it is that loud! I'm all the way up on the 16th floor so it does not matter what floor. This goes on for about 20-30 minutes straight.

Just don't live here. Awful management company, specifically Vanessa. Treat tenants like garbage even if you pay 100% in full and on time for years. Will be telling everyone I know to stay away.

I moved into a studio apartment in the middle of a pandemic on March 31. It was very difficult to move in and the staff was not helpful especially considering the circumstances. I have a medical condition which requires a service dog and upon moving into the unit I discovered an issue that prevented my dog from being able to support me. I requested to management that I move into another apartment that was larger and pay more money. bedbugs were not dealt with they refused to acknowledge the bedbugs that were obviously there after a bad flooding from the toilet all over my apt during covid and sent a exterminator that yelled at me and left before proper examination. so i had to call my own exterminator who confirmed with the dog that there were bedbugs i was paying 1000$ more than the other apt my size due to my pre covid bad contract. they didn't pay for the extermination and refused to send the exterminator again until a week later i have had so ... read more

Similar to other tenants who have called out the greedy management, I have a very similar experience. Everything is great about the place (except the paper thin wall which can be intolerable at times) and the INITIAL leasing process is smooth. However the lease renewal process is such a nightmare. One of the staff, Vanessa Laucella, is a complete pain to deal with. Rude and unprofessional. You would forget that you are the tenant and you are begging Vanessa to let you stay at her place. Read some of the reviews about a roach problem in 355, there is also a roach problem in building 375. We've lived here for about 14 years and NEVER had a bug/roach infestation. A few weeks ago we found roaches in the bug traps in the kitchen and the exterminator sprayed the apartment a week ago and we still see roaches. I was told by the exterminator this is happening because an adjacent apartment was recently sprayed because of roaches so now they are spreading out. Management and service are consistently helpful and do their best with what I expect are low budgets they get from the greedy owners - LeFrak and two hedge funds. Used to be a friendly community, now more like an Air B and B with all the very high turnover (deliberately so on management's part) and what I think are numerous illegal short-term rentals. The doorman barely know who lives here anymore. Mobs of tourists cut through our private spaces and crowd the neighborhood. We have almost no local shops and services us... read more

Update as of July 7 morning: The apartment complex has a nice pool on the first floor. Tenants must pay for access -- which is fine but some complain about it. There is a 3rd party vendor who manages the pool area.
