Lo peor de lo peor para vivir ahí, no arreglan nada, entran gente borrachos y fumando al building personas qie a veces no viven ahí los perros hacen popo y pipí por todos lados, roban paquetes y también intentan abrir tu puerta, no se vive tranquilo en ese lugar, y para colmo la renta es bien cara y no vale la pena
I knew people who lived there. It may have been a great place when it opened but today it is a total and complete SHITHOLE. I visited a few friends years back and OMG! Rats, roaches, doggy doo, and that's just the hallways! Unless you adore tenement living, skip this place.
Well, it started off mostly well minus the first roach sighting within a few days of moving in...and went downhill from there. PROS: -We do appreciate the back common area for our toddler since she loves the playground, pool, splash pad and tons of space to run around in. -It's close to everything we need within walking distance: QCM, Costco, Rego Center, subway, etc. -maintenance guys are doing best they can and many are friendly -we have a fantastic view of Manhattan (Empire State, Chrysler, The Edge, etc). -swimming pool... read more
this pace is horrible, is rat infested, the apartments are poorly maintained. I have been complaining about my kitchen cabinets for years & until this day they have not done nothing about about it, the drawls are falling apart. as well as the doors. This so called building manager they have .Stephanie... she does not care. all they care for is to get paid and they do not care to do anything for the people that live there. its a dirty place. some of the people that work there are very unprofessional. Terrible maintenance, NO pest control, disgusting living conditions outside apartments, overpriced rent, price gouging-tenants. I noticed that people that are giving Lefrak a 5 stars rating are ones talking about the application, not the ones that are living there, dealing with horrific conditions. Lefrak is probably paying these people to add these ratings, then gonna overcharge them in their rent
If you are considering moving to LeFrak City **DON'T**, for they rent they charge you will be better off in LIC! Would you believe I've been sending my rent, and, they are pocketing the money without deductioning it from what I owe!!! I called them, I spoke to someone who gave me a BS response! If only we were face to face when he gave me this cockamamie response!!! Yes, I AM GOING TO HIT THEM IN THEIR POCKET! PLEASE, DO NOT COME HERE, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!!
What a horrible place to live. Between the water being shut off every couple days for "Maintenance". The management company hounding you for rent even if it's less than an hour late, meanwhile they don't fix ANYTHING Inside your apartment once you sign a lease. Only one working elevator in a building with 6... the list goes on and on ... DO NOT RENT HERE it only looks good on the outside !!!
The door to my building has been broken for at least 2 weeks. The door is currently being closed by two trash cans tied together to keep the door closed. One garbage can has trash in it. So every time you walk in and out of the building you have to walk by trash. I'm glad they changed the live a little better slogan because Lefrak has been getting worse and worse daily. Damn shame from what it was
Worst apartment ever without it being in the projects. My nick name for this place is lefrak "shitty" instead of city, as this word described everything about them: majority of their building staff. An apartment here comes with minor annoying inconveniences galore. The building I live in, Peru, has had many apartments renovated inside. I live inside one of those newly renovated apartments.
