If I could zero stars I would! I've lived in The Washington over 20 years and I've never seen it so bad! No staff, the elevator has been out on and off for over a year. Property managers don't care I assume because they are at the mercy of the executives. They don't even pretend to care. Do not move here. king Queens only interested in getting kickbacks from the city and renting to anyone with no background checks. The Washington is a dump! More to follow

I have lived here 5 yrs and tbh this bldg is turning to crap piss on hallways now they doing exterior work I have a whole in my bedroom literally showing an opening to the outside. .. but if you late with rent they take you quick to court .. I have gone ahead and reported this to dept of bldg . others should do the same ! there accepting anyone in this bldg and there just damaging the propretype.

there is currently a bed bug infestation going on in the apartments (on top of the other critters reviewers have written about). property management is highly unresponsive and does not care about its residents, despite how loyal you are or how long you have lived here. this place is a slum and it's expensive to live in just to see the conditions growing worse each month. do not rent from this company.

Run fast and far away from these people. They have roaches everywhere. Super fixes nothing. My appliances didn't work for 6 months out of the 12 I lived there and on the last day the super walked thru and said everything was OK and then they sent me a bill for a chopped bathtub for$ 200, which was already chipped before I moved in. The worst building filled with roaches and no repairs or super that has any idea of repairs. Run fast and far away. Management not responsive and rude.

The number they have you call in case if you have questions about your rent increase is always out of service. Now WTF kind of shit is this? Smh!!! So pissed. Been trying to call them for past 2 months, no answer. Even called the main office and they leave you with a BS that they'll leave a message to that office on your behalf but of course no one ever responds. Last month I paid my rent because I didn't want to accrue late charges but not this month, you can take me to court because I'm really fed up at this point. Effing ... read more

Worst customer service team EVER! Both the leasing Managers and the employees at the Lease Renewal location are all terrible. You have employees working in both offices that are in "customer facing roles" who are completely non-empathetic, non-compassionate and speak in a manner in which is condescending and RUDE! This definitely isn't motivational drive that will encourage residents to stay in their buildings for years, definitely not for me. I don't even know where to begin with this company. I have rented from Kings and Queens AKA Lefrak for over 15 years and every year that passes, it just gets worse. I have been asked by several people (friends, relatives, etc) as well as just passerby's who visit the building I rent from; my experience residing in the Cadillac and the Brussels buildings. I tell each person to absolutely NOT rent from this company unless you want to deal with stress.
