I currently live here and it is my third apartment in NY/NJ area in the past 5 years. For the first time I had a delivery refused because it weighted more than 40 pounds or size was large. They called me to ask if I was in the apartment and I told them I could pick up the package in 2 hours -- it was returned. Why even call me?!?

Pros - Great location (close to PATH/NYC), great views, nice doorman, good amount of sq footage for the price, close to target/mall/super market. Cons - Our building (Aqua Blu) had Roaches and constant false fire alarms! We saw 1 roach the week we moved in and i knew if there was 1 there was more. It turns out we had a disgusting neighbor next door that was a hoarder and had trash and food everywhere. It took management 1 full year to force the neighbor to hire a cleaning service. The only thing thats going for this building is the view. The water quality is nothing but unsafe. The construction with the Ellipse right in front of it is deafening. You'll be paying Manhattan rents and be living in sub-par living conditions. The apartments look new with fancy appliances, but once you move it, you'll get a taste of how awful it all is...the washer takes 90 min to do a small load - and your clothes will barely come out clean. Be careful with the doorman. He may yell at you! On the last day when I was moving out, I asked a favor if I could leave my luggages in the mailing room for a favor since I'd have to go to work during day-time and couldn't carry my luggage. The doorman started yelling at me and saying nasty things. I truthfully didn't get why a luxury apartment like Aquablu would hire a doorman like this guy who's rude and has no manner whatsoever. Think twice if this is important to you.

The management and leasing office is outrageously rude and disgusting. They treat residens like a piece of shit and have no regard or basic etiquette for customer service. I had to renew my lease and my interactions with Vienna Timmins and Isabella from their management/leasing office absolutely discouraged me to extend my lease with them. Beware once you are here you might be dealing with their disgusting attitude.
