My Visit to Villas at Chase Oaks Today. I visited Villas at Chase Oaks to see if I really wanted to live there. It is in the neighborhood I need since my new job is around the corner. I also read all the other reviews and was somewhat wary of looking but my thoughts were quickly turned to a very wonderful experience. They actually care My mom lived here for years until she became ill and found out she had terminal cancer. When she passed away, I had to take over her lease. Her death was too much of a shock to try and figure out what to do with the apartment. It happened so fast and at the time I was already living in Keller. The move was very stressful. I am grateful to Kim one of the managers and Tina for being so understanding so patient with me and supportive. A few years later and they still are.

Poor mmgt The property and amenities are ok, the leasing admin is pretty terrible. They are generic at best and make this place rather uncomfortable to live in. They don't want to help or have any emotional connection. The apartment is generic, low quality paint, the tenet before me wrecked the place and b/c of that I don't have an overhead fan in my bedroom. Ridiculous Over the last 2 years we have had at least 20 hot water issues. Sometimes we are given a heads up, and sometimes not.

Worst Management Recently a new management took over the management and they do not have any clue about the deposit paid by the residence here except for the paper documents. When asked about my deposit to know what it is used for they gave a lame reason saying it might have been used for letting you move in to the apartment :/ buy the old management said it would be used to cover the move out charges. This current management is not willing to contact them to know any details and they say it is non refund but cannot be used ... read more

Terrible Staff and Extra Charges Halfway through our lease they tell us they’re installing mandatory alarm systems for every apartment, and there’s an extra $40/month fee. They required every tenant to sign an acknowledgment form, but I had some questions before I accept another monthly fee. When I went to the office to understand the situation better, both of the office workers were very rude and told me it would be installed whether I would sign the form or not, and if I didn’t like it there’s nothing they can do. Do not choose these apartments Please do not choose the Villas at Chase Oaks. The management staff are terrible people. They will squeeze every penny out of you that they can upon move out. Document EVERYTHING. Call maintenance for ANY small problem, otherwise they will hold you responsible for any slight wear and tear caused by the low quality of their fixtures. The appliances are not upgraded (most noticeably the non-functional wood-paneled dishwashers.)
