AVOID I wish it was possible to give this place negative stars. First, the apartment that they show you is nowhere near what you get (seems to be pretty common here in Bloomington). When my roommate and I moved it, it was pretty clear that our apartment had not been cleaned at all: we found dog food on the center of our living room floor, the bathrooms were disgusting, and there were ants and toenails on the carpet in one of the bedrooms. Run - Terribly managed. Do not get tricked. The management is extremely poorly ran here. 1) They lied about the start date of my lease. They promised me I could start on the 7th of August but snuck the 1st into the lease. Then attempted to charge me an extra $50 for "being late" on my rent come August the 2nd. 2) When I got to get my key the people at the front office were extremely rude and condescending. Run from this place!! I BEG OF YOU TO GO ELSEWHERE!!! They pray upon the young adults that are naive. They have a combined application/lease signing that is cleverly designed to entrap you by allowing them to make changes and extra demands AFTER SIGNING, while you have no options. Please… please… understand this is not how the normal property application and lease signing is done. Terrible Customer Service Bloom has no intention of providing any level of customer service. Once they have you in a contract, there is no incentive for them to provide a modicum of service. I requested that they give me a call before coming to my apartment to perform some maintenance so I could come home and keep my dog from bothering them, and it was like I asked them to shoot someone.
