I recently began renting a one-bedroom apartment at Sagamore Court in Portsmouth, NH. The rental process was a bit complicated with plenty of background information required to qualify. But, that said, the entire review and approval process only took a couple of days. I was able to move in within 3 days of completing the application process. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I have been in the apartment for a month now and am very happy with what I've experienced so far.
Sagamore Court is a wonderful place to live. It's clean and quiet, and the neighbors (including the furry 4-legged ones) are always friendly and helpful. Amy in the office is easily reachable--and a pleasure to chat with. And the fix-it guys Dave and Jason provide same-day service whenever minor issues pop up--which is a HUGE plus in my book... :) I highly recommend!
Worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. Not only have I had problems since I have moved in but it also takes far too long for them to be resolved. Washer and dryers always have problems and the dryers DO NOT dry the clothes. I don’t know why I pay to do my laundry here when after multiple times paying to try to get my clothes to dry they still are soaking wet and I have to air dry my stuff in my apartment leaving clothes all over ever door and any place that will hold them to dry.
I’m sure my review will not be recognized, but our basement apartment flooded and I noticed that all of the base boards to the floors are siliconed to prevent the walls from catching mold from excessive flooding (prior to our move in) They are only giving us $420 for our remaining rental window, and our security deposit back. ALL OF OUR STUFF IS RUINED. Renters ins doesn’t cover it ground water flooding from the ground up. The cheapest rent is my entire monthly income with a full time 40 hour job! How do you expect people to live? How do renters justify $2000/month for rent?
