One of the worst rental companies at Purdue. I had to take legal action to get back my security deposit. Kierra was constantly sending out emails about new fees and charges. The dryers were broken in my apartment. It was also dirty when I moved in. Ever since this company bought out Basham, they’ve been running their properties into the ground. So glad I do not live there anymore.
Forced renovations(repainting & reflooring) while living there without being provided an alternative living arrangement or pro-rated rent. This greatly disrupted my life as a student and made the place unlivable for days. Much of my personal property was painted on or given little to no respect and care. Besides this, the location is great and the general maintenance people were always quick and helpful.
Rent for apartment was raised a large amount from previous year and apartment is in horrible condition (missing interior doors, ripped carpet, mold, broken/poorly maintained appliances, etc.). Then had a problem with the billing which I thought I had resovled on the phone but apparently I was just straight up lied to and was then charged more money for said problem not being resolved. They also made us pay for a month and a half of rent in which we are not allowed to move in due to them performing "cleaning and maintenance" ... read more
DO NOT LEASE FROM THIS MANAGEMENT. Great location and the maintenance comes often to repair things. That said, however, I wish they didn't come so often. There are so many problems. My shower was leaking mystery water, fridge door didn't close, front door wouldn't close, and more! It feels like they didn't even clean the place considering there was mold/rust? Ever since Muinzer bought out Basham Rentals, our apartment has been a nightmare. For two months now, there has been mold and water damage, and they have still not fixed it. A unit above our unit had a broken water heater, and the water went all the way down to the first floor and damaged all units along the way, which included ours. A total of 4 units are impacted by this as well. Paying rent for a completely unlivable property is unacceptable, and violates Indiana tenant rights.
