On the day of my move-in, I toured the apartment and was informed that it had been ready for occupancy for several days, if not weeks, prior to my arrival. However, after signing the lease and receiving my keys, I entered the unit and found a huge amount of dead centipedes scattered across the bedroom carpet and floor. I was just looking out of curiosity and have read several negative reviews so I felt inclined to share my experience at McCrory Flats as a current resident. I have enjoyed every second of living here. The complex accommodated my needs regarding my emotional support animal and my request to be on an elevated floor. The rent is affordable with no crazy surprise fees (which I have encountered at every other apartment complex I've lived in) and I feel VERY safe and cozy in my unit. I filled out an application on May 2, 2026.. ..it's now May 10. I have called left a message no answer. I need my application fee back. I feel like apartments are just simply stealing at this point. Everytime I go online it says in process! I mean if I missed something or you need proof just call or email me. No one should have to wait this long for an answer after paying application fees. Can I please get a refund on my applications

Don't rent here! They don't do background checks. My daughter is a tenant and she's been waiting 4 months to get the ice maker fixed. Not too mention: the vacancy and eviction turnover rates are extremely high. The police arrested a tenant from his apartment the Friday before the snow storm. My daughter was without power for 3 days after the snow storm. The parking lot was a treacherous slip hazard. I've also seen water bugs when visiting. These are brand new. I can't fathom the fact they already have bugs!

They do not care about sexual assault, feeling safe, or making things right. My HVAC unit was wired incorrectly, causing my first two months of electric bills to rack up nearly $300 each. They refuse to fully compensate me for their mistake, only offering a $100 rent credit. While also saying there is no written proof of this, even with me sending them my electric bill log and photos of my unit showing it was wired wrong.They have also been made aware that I had to call the police on my neighbor, because a man was lingering ... read more
