My best renting experiences in Madison were with McGrath Property Group. Terrace Point and LL Olds Lofts and Flats (lived in both sides) were great properties. A couple things that make MPG stand out, in my opinion: -Appliances are a notch above the rest. -Kitchen cabinets had soft-close cabinets and drawers, which is a luxury that I never knew I needed. -Outstanding maintenance response time & quality of work. Fantastic apartment complex! Modern amenities including a lovely fitness facility and large outdoor green space for pets. Parking garage on site is clutch! Centrally located to all the sites of Willy street; just 10 minutes to the capital. People warned us about the noise from the train, which is real, HOWEVER, as long as you live in the apartments opposite to where the trains pass, you are fine. We have very much enjoyed our time so far at this complex.
I lived here for three years and had a great experience. There were some quirks to the apartment when I first moved in (mainly with the AC unit), but Maintenance was fantastic and ended up replacing the draining system in my AC unit to permanently fix the issue. I wouldn’t recommend moving into the lofts side of the building. We have been experiencing a noise issue since early November and it is currently unresolved. The noises range from somebody above you doing a HIIT workout to somebody banging on drums. These noises last anywhere from 530am-11pm and can go for hours at a time. The best part about this situation is that they shrug their shoulders and won’t compensate us for any of the inconveniences. So much for living in a nice apartment! Lived here a year and a half or so (1 bedroom in the flats building). The apartments feel new and the appliances/trimmings are nice. Maintenance was extremely responsive on the rare occasions I had issues. Management pleasant to deal with and Willy street is great in general. Things I didn’t like: - My unit only had an auxiliary electric bathroom heater for the entire apartment - Soundproofing was terrible, especially the doors - The cool looking rail line right across the bike path is very much active, and the freight l... read more
